1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the LiveRoute platform, mobile applications, website, and related services (collectively, the “Services”), provided by LiveRoute (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you are using the Services on behalf of a school, company, or organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that entity to these Terms.

2. Description of Services

LiveRoute provides technology solutions to manage school and student transportation, including route monitoring, bus tracking, attendance recording, and parent/guardian notifications. We may update or improve features at any time to enhance the Services.

3. Eligibility

To use the Services:

• You must be at least 18 years old or have appropriate legal authorization.
• If you are a school, transportation provider, or administrator, you must have the authority to share student transportation data.

4. Accounts & Responsibilities

• Account Creation: You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
• Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account.
• Authorized Use: Accounts for drivers, supervisors, parents, and administrators must only be used by the assigned person.

5. Data & Privacy

• Data Ownership: Schools and transportation providers retain ownership of their data.
• Our Use of Data: We use your data solely to provide, maintain, and improve the Services, as described in our Privacy Policy.
• Confidentiality: We do not sell personal data and only share it as required to operate the Services or comply with the law.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Services for unlawful or harmful purposes.
• Attempt to bypass security or interfere with system operations.
• Upload false or misleading information.
• Access or use another user’s account without permission.

7. Hardware & Connectivity

LiveRoute does not require special hardware. The Services are designed for smartphones and compatible devices with internet access. You are responsible for providing and maintaining compatible devices and data connections.

8. Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable and continuous access to the Services but do not guarantee 100% uptime. Temporary interruptions may occur for maintenance, upgrades, or network issues.

9. Fees & Payments

• Pricing Model: LiveRoute charges a subscription fee based on the number of students covered.
• Billing: Fees are invoiced according to your subscription agreement and must be paid on time to avoid service suspension.
• Taxes: Any applicable taxes are your responsibility.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if:

• You violate these Terms.
• Required payments are not made.
• The Services are discontinued.

Upon termination, your right to use the Services ends immediately.

11. Intellectual Property

All software, trademarks, and materials provided by LiveRoute are our intellectual property. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without written permission.

12. Liability Disclaimer

The Services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for delays, errors, or failures caused by third-party networks, devices, or user error. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the total amount paid to us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold LiveRoute harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

• Your use of the Services.
• Your violation of these Terms.
• Any data or content you submit.

14. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you via email or through the platform before they take effect.
